My best friend Jesse had a project she needed help with and she asked me to help. She’s working on a campaign for school, having to plan out a way to bring awareness about Domestic Violence. One of the ways she wanted to bring awareness is through creating t-shirts. Brainstorming some ideas for a slogan, we came up with something that is both obscure but makes sense once you understand it. The slogan we came up with was: Love isn’t supposed to hurt.
The objective of the t-shirt is to create a curiosity in people, prompting them to ask what it means and therefore start a dialogue to help educate people about domestic violence in our society.
Here is the logo:
This week Jesse came to visit me in the city and brought final version of it–the actual t-shirt. I got to flaunt it at school already and I managed to take a photo of it. The colours are nice and bright. Check it out and tell me what you think!
